Today’s recipe is that of cabbage fritters.

Cabbage fritters
Time taken: 25 mins
Serves 4 or 5
- Cabbage – ½ cup, shredded
- Onion – ½, chopped
- Green chillies – 1 or 2, chopped
- Crushed red chillies – 1 tsp
- Chickpea flour – ¼ cup
- Wheat flour – ¼ cup
- Ginger – ½ tsp, crushed
- Garlic – ½ tsp, crushed
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for deep-frying
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients, except the oil, together adding a little water to make the fritter dough.
- Divide the fritter dough into 4 or 5 portions.
- Deep-fry until golden brown.
- Serve with rice or as it is.
