From August 2013 to December 2016, I had the privilege of documenting some of my mother’s delicious recipes whilst also inviting friends to contribute recipes for this blog.

Post 2016, not only was I busy with other things, my mother’s health was also slowly deteriorating and she was not able to experiment with cooking or contributing to the blog.

Amma passed away last month and this blog’s journey has definitely come to an end, in terms of new content. However, this blog has been a comfort to me whenever I have tried recreating one of Amma’s recipes and therefore, I will keep this blog as it is – not only for me, but for anyone who wishes to try making one of Amma’s recipes.
